DO YOU ARRANGE DELIVERY?
We sure do. A freight charge applies but this will also include installation of the units you are hiring. Deliveries and pickups are generally made between 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday – Friday but we also have a 24 hour Emergency Call Out Service
OUR SERVER ROOM IS OVERHEATING AND IT’S AFTER HOURS! CAN YOU HELP US!?
Our team is on call 24/7 to cope with any urgent cooling, heating or drying problems. You can contact them on 09 579 8103. Please note that a surcharge applies for all call outs outside of our normal business hours.
HOW MANY BRANCHES DO YOU HAVE?
We have one branch in Auckland and service the greater Auckland region only
DO I NEED TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH YOU?
Payment before delivery is required for initial orders. We can send you a credit application form to be completed and returned for on-going long term hires.
WHAT IF I CANCEL MY ORDER?
In the event of a cancellation by the customer up to five (5) days prior to any hire of equipment Airconditioner Rentals reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to the costs incurred by ACR covering administration fees, freight costs and/or any loss of hire if applicable. Unfortunately credit cannot be issued for Goods ordered and delivered, but not used by the hirer
DO YOU CHARGE A BOND?
If a bond is applicable on your order it will be specified on your quote. A bond is fully refundable on return of goods in the condition they were received and you can find full details in our Links section of this website.
CAN YOU SEND ME A BROCHURE?
Absolutely. You will find a lot more info on this website than in the brochure but if you fill out your details on the Enquiry Form page and click ‘send email’ we will happily mail a brochure out to you.
DO YOU HAVE EFTPOS OR CREDIT CARD FACILITIES?
Yes - we accept payment by Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, MasterCard & Visa. Or you can pay by Direct Credit into our bank account.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HIRING vs PURCHASING?
Renting is a great solution for your short and long term Air Conditioning requirements, offering:
Total Flexibility - Why commit to purchase or long term lease? With rental you can return or exchange equipment when your needs change.
Reduced Capital Requirements - Don't tie up your capital in depreciating assets when you could be using it to increase profits? With rental you don't need to find the cash to buy equipment and it doesn't appear on your balance sheet.
Tax Deductibility - Did you know that rental costs can be claimed as a tax expense?
Predictable Cash Flow - with rental you pay a fixed amount each month - and any repairs or maintenance are at our expense (with the exception of a unit being faulty due to being damaged, changed or set up by the client in a way that has caused the unit to malfunction.)
FILTERS - do I need to clean these? Yes, filters need cleaning on a regular basis.
DUCTING - do I need to duct the hot air out of the room?
Yes, this needs to be done on all portable units. We normally duct the hot air into the ceiling cavity or if this isn't possible we will duct out through a window. If you have a suspended ceiling we will insert one of our custom-cut half tiles to allow for tidy ducting into the ceiling area.
HOW LONG IS MY QUOTE VALID FOR?
Our quotes are valid for 90 days and product is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Prices exclude GST & are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
GST - As of the 1st October 2010 the NZ GST rate is 15%
