Do you hire to private residences?

Sorry, we only work in the commerical sector and do not provide temporary air conditioning to cool your lounge or bedroom.

Do you arrange delivery?

We sure do. A freight charge applies but this charge will also include installation of the units you are hiring and their pick-up when you are ready to return them. Deliveries and pickups are generally made between 8.30am and 4.00pm Monday – Friday.

Do you clean your air conditioners?

Yes! Filters and coils are cleaned and, together with internal ducting, are treated with food grade bacteriacide between hires.

How many branches do you have?

We have one branch in Auckland and mainly service the greater Auckland region. We may be able to help with projects up to Whangarei and down to Hamilton, please contact us to discuss and we will try to help if we have availability.

Do I need to have an account with you?

Accepted Answer

Payment before delivery is required for initial orders. We can send you a credit application form to be completed and returned for on-going long term hires.

What if I cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

In the event of a cancellation by the customer up to five (5) days prior to any hire of equipment Airconditioner Rentals reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to the costs incurred by ACR covering administration fees, freight costs and/or any loss of hire if applicable. Unfortunately credit cannot be issued for Goods ordered and delivered, but not used by the hirer.

Do you have EFTPOS or credit card facilities?

Yes - we accept payment by EFTPOS, MasterCard and Visa, or you can pay via Internet Banking.

Do I need to clean the filters?

Yes, when dusty filters need to be vacuumed to ensure they work efficiently.

Do I need to duct the hot air out of the room?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this needs to be done on all portable units. We normally duct the hot air into the ceiling cavity or if this isn't possible we will duct out through a window. If you have a suspended ceiling we will insert one of our custom-cut half tiles to allow for tidy ducting into the ceiling area.

Our quotes are valid for 30 days and product is subject to availability at the time of booking.
